FUERTEVENTURA
A rugged island where sand dunes meet turquoise waves, and every beach feels like a hidden escape.

Best Time to Visit
Fuerteventura is sunny and dry year-round, with constant trade winds that shape its unique desert-like landscape. Spring and autumn offer warm, pleasant weather without crowds. Summer is hotter and windier — great for water sports, especially kitesurfing and windsurfing. Winter is mild, ideal for hiking and beach exploring.

How Long to Stay
We recommend 4-6 days to explore both the north and south: Allow 2-3 days in the north for Corralejo, dunes, and boat trip to Isla de Lobos. 1-2 days to discover remote beaches and villages inland and 1-2 days in the south, to visit Costa Calma and Morro Jable.

How to Get Around
A rental car is essential. Fuerteventura is a large island with longer distances between places — and many beaches or inland trails aren’t reachable by bus. Roads are easy to navigate and often scenic, especially along the coast or near the dunes.
